Introduction to Lisa
Dr Joels is an OBGYN and Fertility Specialist in Cayman. She has 34 years’ experience in obstetrics and gynaecology including more than 20 years as a Consultant in Swansea, Exeter and the Cayman Islands. In the UK, Dr Joels was responsible for one of the largest and most respected fertility services in the South West, and as a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, a senior member of a tertiary pregnancy team overseeing 4,000+ normal and high risk deliveries a year.
Dr Joels has experience managing complex OBGYN problems including a multi-disciplinary approach and working closely with related specialties including: midwifery, neonatology, paediatrics and anaesthetics.
She believes in a woman-centred holistic approach to clinical management and is an advocate for patient choice and shared decision making.
